• I ask lots of questions, though I often prefer consulting good documentation.
• I love to design systems and architectures, though I like to stay in the code.
• So far, I have chosen adaptability over specialisation. I learn fast, but I'm not a world-leading expert in one area.
• I believe strongly in the 'softer skills'. I like to present, discuss ideas, and build relationships.
• I value personal connections. It matters to me that my colleagues are happy, and I will work in aid of that goal.
• The trait I value most highly is pragmatism. I am rarely stuck in my ways, and I hope to see that in others.

• Achieved promotion from SDE1 to SDE2 at Amazon, having achieved an 'outstanding' review in the first year

• Ranked joint-highest of the 10 interns at BT GES Summer Research Internship
• Received a Personal Recommendation from a Principal Engineer I worked with at Oracle.

I was a member of my local hometown club from age 11-18. I still keep up training, but just for fitness!
